Elderberries have anti-inflammatory and antioxidant properties. Elderberry Syrup helps boost the immune system and fight/protect against viral infections (cold and flu).
Adults - take ½ to 1 tablespoon daily to boost immunity and prevent illness; or if the flu does strike, take ½ to 1 tablespoon every 2 to 3 hours, instead of once a day. Children's dosage is 1/2 to 1 teaspoon as noted previously.
Store in freezer until ready to use. Will keep in the refrigerator for a couple months.
